Volunteer FAQ
To file a claim, an accident must have occurred at an official station during a
time you were officially volunteering.
Hours served somewhere other than an official station are community assistance hours. This includes yard work, driving a person to the doctor, or other unpaid
acts performed for someone you do not
live with. Names must be reported with community assistance hours.
An active volunteer is one that serves at an official station at least one hour every three months. Remaining active keeps you on our mailing list and keeps your insurance in effect.
The only requirement for joining RSVP
is that you be at least 55 years of age.
